Kevin is a 1982 cum laude graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Associate Degree in Criminology and Pre-Law Minor. Kevin earned his Juris Doctor Degree at Duquesne University School of Law where he also served as a Staff Writer and Research Editor of Duquesne's Law Review. Following his graduation from Duquesne University, Kevin was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania; the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania; and is also admitted before the Supreme Court of West Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. Kevin is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Kevin's professional background has concentrated in civil defense litigation including workers' compensation; commercial and personal premises liability, automobile accidents, first party benefits, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, toxic tort, hospital liability, medical malpractice and construction litigation. Additionally, in his representation of school districts, municipalities and political subdivisions, Kevin has gained extensive experience in municipal law and the constitutional liability of public officers.

In the Workers' Compensation arena Kevin has defended claim, reinstatement, termination and modification petitions and has engaged in utilization review litigation throughout the entire State of Pennsylvania. Kevin also lectures and provides workshops for insurance companies and self-insured companies on all aspects of workers' compensation claim handling and litigation strategies.

Additionally, Kevin has argued numerous legal issues before the Worker's Compensation Appeal Board and Commonwealth Court. Also, Kevin has successfully tried and arbitrated numerous cases throughout western and central Pennsylvania and has argued several complex civil and workers' compensation legal issues before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts. He also serves as an arbitrator in the Allegheny County arbitration system.
